The Zonk Machine

A faithful BigRockFX take on one of the rarest and most sought-after British fuzz circuits of the 1960s.

The Vintage Zonk Machine is built around the aggressive, raw and unpredictable character that made the original circuit so special — from thick, sustaining fuzz to those glorious gated and sputtering sounds that vintage fuzz fans chase.

Each pedal is handwired on a traditional eyelet board using carefully selected vintage and NOS components. Every one is individually built, tested and tuned by hand in the UK.

The Zonk Machine is housed in a vintage-style enclosure and, unlike the original, features an external Bias control. This lets you move from smoother, singing sustain through to dirty, gated and sputtering fuzz simply by turning a knob.

It's equally at home with British blues, psychedelic rock, garage, experimental sounds or anywhere else you want a fuzz that doesn't behave quite like everything else.
